Tao Te Ching, Bilingual Collector's Edition
This collector's edition sets all eighty-one chapters of the Tao Te Ching with the classical Chinese on the left page and a plain English translation facing it on the right. A short introduction traces how the text was transmitted and explains the main commentarial traditions readers will meet in the notes. The volume is clothbound with a gold foil title, sewn in signatures so it opens flat, printed on cream acid-free paper, and finished with a ribbon marker. A colophon at the back records the edition, the printing and the paper used.
